During a career that spans more than 30 years, Dr. Larry Reynolds has represented Federal, Provincial, Territorial and Municipal governments, administrative tribunals, various industries, and aboriginal and environmental organizations across a wide spectrum of legal matters. In his practice, Dr. Reynolds has contributed to a number of ground breaking legal firsts. R. v. Peterson was the first successful prosecution involving protection of marine mammals (killer whales) under Canada's Species At Risk Act. Qikiqtani Inuit Association v. Attorney General of Canada & Nanisivik Mines Ltd. was the first judicial review of an administrative tribunal in the Nunavut Territory.  R. v. Canadian National Railway involved the successful prosecution of CNR, involving what at the time was considered the largest in-land hydrocarbon spill in Canadian history. It also resulted in one of the largest environmental penalties in Canadian law.
